Allergy prevention starts before conception: maternofetal transfer of tolerance protects against the development of asthma

In this project, chipcytometry was used to analyze in detail the antigen-specific immune response in offspring of mice that had been tolerized to a certain allergen. Surprisingly, it was found that Interferon-gamma producing T-cells are induced in these offspring due to diaplacentar immunecomplex-transfer.
